Social Distortion to come to the Orbit Room in November

Social Distortion to come to the Orbit Room in November

Written by Elijah Brumback

Today, the Orbit Room announced a new show to its already-growing lineup. On Nov. 27, the legendary punk band Social Distortion will take West Michigan by slick-haired storm.

The switchblade kings of Orange County, Cali. have been releasing albums -- full of badass American storytelling -- in a revolving lineup for more than three decades. After years of white-knuckle touring and only one consistent member for the last 33 years, the band continues to reach new levels of success. 2011's release Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes entered the U.S. Billboard 200 chart at No. 4, the highest ever. Self-titled and arguably the best record the band ever made, Social Distortion, peaked at 128 on the Billboard 200 chart way back in 1989.
