My Town: Todd Wenzel to open pre-owned superstore in former Lake Michigan Auto Center
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. –  Todd Wenzel Automotive announces their fourth Michigan dealership, the Todd Wenzel Pre-Owned Superstore, which is expected to open Oct. 1, 2014. With anticipated inventory of more than 400 pre-owned vehicles, Todd Wenzel Pre-Owned Superstore will provide one of the largest selections in West Michigan. The current Lake Michigan Auto Center building, located just south of I-96 at 4130 32nd Avenue in Hudsonville, will be completely remodeled and updated with new Herman Miller furniture prior to the Oct. 1 grand opening. Todd Wenzel plans to add approximately 20 jobs at the new location and confirms that the car wash will remain open to the public. “I was delighted to partner with LMCU in this transaction,” said Todd Wenzel, “They were very professional. We enjoy a fantastic relationship and look forward to having them as our neighbor at their branch next door.” LMCU’s Chief Executive Officer, Sandy Jelinski, is pleased to see Lake Michigan Auto Center join the Wenzel automotive team. “Originally, LMAC was intended as a retail outlet for our lease vehicle returns. Now that we’re no longer as focused on leasing, we felt this business segment would be better served by those who specialize in automobile retail sales. Partnering with Todd Wenzel Automotive has been a pleasure and we wish them the best of success going forward.” GM Certified inventory currently located at Todd Wenzel Chevrolet in Hudsonville, will be moved to the superstore to make room for an expanded truck center. The Chevy dealership has extended its lot and added new energy-efficient LEDs to accommodate its growing business.  “To add a second location in Hudsonville is very exciting. It is a great community to do business in and now a vehicle shopping destination for all of West Michigan," adds Wenzel.
