My Town: Reality show featuring Kentwood manufacturer to air Nov. 21

KENTWOOD, Mich. (WZZM) – The producers of an Animal Planet reality show are moving up the air date of an episode featuring a Kentwood manufacturer.

“TANKED” features Wayde King and Brett Raymer of Acrylic Manufacturing, who build exotic fish tanks for celebrities.  In September, both stars visited Stiles Machinery in Kentwood for three days to record an episode featuring a 12-foot fish tank. The tank, which holds 700 gallons of water and weighs 7,000 pounds, showcases the Grand Rapids skyline. Stiles donated the piece to the Mercy Health Lacks Cancer Center.

The episode will now air on Animal Planet Friday, Nov. 21 at 10 p.m., which is a week earlier than originally planned.
