Vietnam Wall Replica Coming to Kentwood | Events
Title (Max 100 Charaters)
For years now, a traveling mini Vietnam War Memorial wall has been traveling to communities around the country. This year, the only stop in Michigan will be in Kentwood this July. As many as 50 thousand people are expected to visit the memorial at Kentwood Memorial Park on 48th Street. The exhibit is a reduced sized replica of the memorial wall in Washington containing more than 58 thousand names. The exhibit will also pay tribute to those fallen in other wars as well. The tribute traveled to Cadillac last year. Visitors can visit for free but donations are being accepted to help pay some of the city's costs of bringing the exhibit to Kentwood. The exhibit will run from July 25 to the 29th.
