KENTWOOD, Mich. (WZZM)- A restaurant assistant manager is headed to trial for allegedly denying service to a customer with a service dog. Nataly Bucio, 21, was arraigned this morning of a charge of refusing accommodation to a person with disabilities led by a dog.
In November, Frank Eckl and his family went to dinner at Don Julio's restaurant on 28th St. in Cascade Township. But Eckl says Bucio told him the dog had to stay in the lobby. Eckl is a veteran and uses the dog because of occasional seizures.
Bucio faces 90 days in jail if found guilty of the misdemeanor.
